Amelia Kerr Becomes Second Player To Complete Rare All-Round Double In WPL

The only other player to have achieved this feat is Kerr’s Mumbai teammate Hayley Matthews

Mumbai Indians' Amelia Kerr became only the second player ever in the history of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) to complete the double of 25 wickets and 250 runs.

The feat was achieved by the New Zealander on February 18 (Tuesday) during the fifth match of WPL 2025 against Gujarat Giants (GG) at the Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) Stadium in Vadodara, Gujarat.

The only other player to have achieved this feat is Kerr’s Mumbai teammate Hayley Matthews (456 runs and 28 wickets).

Nat Sciver-Brunt, another Mumbai Indians player, has more than 500 hundred runs but is just two away from taking 25 wickets.

This is the third edition of the WPL, a tournament that started in 2023. Kerr, who took 2/22 in this match, has so far played 21 matches in this league and has 26 wickets and 373 runs in the league.
