Alzarri Joseph storms off the field following argument with skipper Shai Hope

The pacer returned to the field a few moments later after cooling down in the dressing room

West Indies fast bowler Alzarri Joseph stormed off the field following an argument with his skipper Shai Hope. Joseph had a heated discussion with Hope over field placements, and when the pacer didn't get his way, he went off the field. The incident occurred in the fourth over of the third One-Day International (ODI) between West Indies and England at Bridgetown, Barbados.

The argument seemed to have egged Joseph on further as he got the wicket of Jordan Cox with a fierce delivery that came at the batter with pace, and he could just manage a glove to the wicketkeeper. Even after the wicket, Jpseph was visibly unhappy with something, and he let his skipper know before walking back into the dressing room.

Head coach Daren Sammy looked to diffuse the situation, but Joseph was having none of it. With Joseph's exit from the ground, the hosts played with just ten men. At the end of the over, substitute fielder Hayden Walsh looked set to come on, but in the end, Joseph re-entered the field.

Eventually, West Indies went on to win the game by eight wickets, thanks to tons from Brandon King (102) and Keacy Carty (128*), to win the three-match ODI series.  The two teams will engage in a five-match T20 International (T20I) series starting November 10 at the same venue.
