The Maharashtrian scored 28 runs on the off-side and 27 on the leg side, showing his game on both ends. All of his boundaries on the night came behind the square region. He was a major reason they got to 159.
Underrated Varun Chakaravarthy
Varun Chakaravarthy is having quite a season to remember.
Since April 29, his figures read: 3/16 vs Delhi Capitals, 2/22 vs Mumbai Indians, 3/30 vs Lucknow Super Giants and 2/17 vs MI. He continued his golden run with another two-wicket haul, ending with figures of 2/26. It was he who removed the dangerous-looking Heinrich Klaasen.

Venkatesh Iyer tees off yet again
Venkatesh Iyer has stepped up every time KKR have required him.
Iyer walked out to bat in the fourth over when the score was 44/1. Over the next ten overs, Iyer smashed the living daylight out of the SRH spinners, scoring 20 off nine balls with three boundaries. Remember that he scored 31 off 19 against the pacers, with six boundaries. His unbeaten 51 was his second-highest score this year, smashing at 182.14.
