That is all from this game. The action now shifts to Mumbai. The home team will take on Gujarat in the penultimate game of the group stage. Join us on the 10th of this month at 7.30 pm IST (2 pm GMT). You can join us earlier for the build up. Till then, cheers!

Georgia Voll  is the Player of the Match for her excellent knock of 99 runs! She says that the experience was really good here and she feels good to contribute to their side. Adds that it was a disappointing season, but it feels good to end on a high. Adds that she couldn't get to her hundred but they did well to win the game.

Deepti Sharma, the skipper of UP, says that she felt good after the win. Adds that its a T20 game and it goes till the last moment. She says that she was focusing on giving the team a breakthrough and it happened towards the very end. She says that everyone in the team gave their best and it was a team effort. Ends by saying that there were a lot of learnings to take from this season.

...Presentation....

Grace Harris gives the orange cap to Ellyse Perry. She is up for a chat now. She says that she feels good and it was a fun game. Adds that they express themselves and it felt like they performed a lot better compared to their previous games. She says that the pitch was flatter and it was a good wicket to bat. Ends by saying that it was a fantastic experience in the Women's T20 League and it gives the domestic players to showcase their game.

Smriti Mandhana, the skipper of Bengaluru says that UP batted really well. Adds that they tried to pull off towards the end but fell short. She adds that in their last five games they couldn't live up to the expectations and there is a lot to take back from this season. She ends by saying that they took a lot of positives from this season and the way Richa Ghosh and Sneh Rana batted was a delight to watch.

UP knew Bengaluru will come hard against them as it was a must win for them. Bengaluru kept on losing wickets regularly but somehow kept themselves in the game. It was Ghosh's innings on top that kept the hopes alive. Once she fell it was all over but then Rana came in late in the game to reignite the hopes. She scored three sixes and took on Deepti Sharma to make things interesting but Sharma had the last laugh and eventually it was all over. Bengaluru will feel if someone from the top had played the anchor role, things would have been different.

It was a must win for Bengaluru but apart from the toss all went against the plan. They opted to bowl first but Smriti Mandhana had no clue what was waiting for her team. It was fireworks from UP right from the word go. All the batters played a wonderful innings however, it was Georgia Voll's unbeaten 99 that made all the headlines. Kiran Navgire too need an appreciation for her valuable knock of 46 off 16 balls. Bengaluru didn't execute their plans. Everyone leaked runs and looked clueless against UP's fireworks.

Wow! One of the best matches of this season! UP win but more importantly they have spoiled Bengaluru's party! Their season ends without qualification now. Smriti Mandhana's face says it all. She has a big smile actually on her face. She knows how much effort her team has put in today!
