Carlos Brathwaite to Rashid Khan, OUT! CAUGHT. Taken in the deep. Full and around off, Rashid brings out the helicopter shot, aiming mid-wicket. Connects well too. But unfortunately for him, he picks out the tallest man on the field - Jason Holder. Holder waits patiently for the ball to come to him, leaps at the opportune moment and grabs the catch.

Steve O'Keefe to Liam Scott, OUT! LBW! Steve gets rid of the X-Factor! The idea was pretty simple, keep it outside off, and then suddenly get one in line with the stumps. A pretty you miss I hit stuff from O'Keefe. Steve tosses one up and around off, Scott lines up to play the sweep but fails to get the shot as he gets rapped on the pads and there goes the appeal from the bowler. The umpire waits for a while before raising his dreaded finger. That was pretty plumb to the naked eye.

Steve O'Keefe to Matthew Short, OUT! CAUGHT! Brilliant take from Philippe! Flatter and outside off, Short goes for the cut but is very close to the body. He though manages a thick outside edge which goes to Josh who fumbles on the first attempt but manages to hold onto it in the second one. Short's stay in the middle is cut short by the experienced Steve O'Keefe.

Carlos Brathwaite to Alex Carey, OUT! CASTLED! The break brings the breakthrough for the Sixers! Brathwaite bowls one a tad fuller and around off, a hint of inward movement too on it as Carey is confused whether to play on the front foot or the back foot. Finally, he decides to play off the back foot and misses his glance as the ball hits the top of off pole.

Benjamin Manenti to Matt Renshaw, OUT! CAUGHT! James Vince takes the catch! Manenti breaks through! Benjamin tosses one up and outside off, Renshaw's eyes lit up as he goes onto play the reverse sweep. He though connects well but hits it straight to Vince at point. A brilliant catch taken in the end.

Ben Dwarshuis to Alex Carey, MISFIELD, FOUR! A rare error for the best fielder in the Big Bash - Jordan Silk. On a length, outside off, Carey punches this through the covers. Silk races to his left from sweeper cover, dives to his left, gets to the ball to but only parries it into the ropes! The Strikers are 66/2 after 7 overs. The Sixers were a paltry 30/2.
