Follow UsThe Kalyani Bengaluru Blasters defeated the Shivamogga Lions by 6 wickets at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, registering their seventh win in nine games.
Batting first, the Lions had a decent powerplay, but it was the middle-order duo of Abhinav Manohar (59 off 24), Bangalore Mohit (56 off 38), and Rohan Naveen (45 off 21) who allowed them to cross 200 and posted a total of 227/5.
The Blasters were clinical in the chase from the start, with Mayank Agarwal (33 off 17) giving them a solid start. However wickets kept falling until Shubhang Hegde (85 off 41) and Suraj Ahuja (82 off 38) finished the chase together with an over to go.
With this win, the Blasters have substantiated their position at the top of the points table with 14 points in nine games. They have an NRR of +1.008.
