Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur also joined in the onslaught and matched Mandhana’s hundred by scoring 103* (88)

The Women in Blue have continued their dominant run with the bat against South Africa in Bengaluru.

After reaching 265/8 despite being 99/5 at one stage in the first ODI, Smriti Mandhana batted brilliantly yet again despite the sedate start and scored 136 runs in just 120 deliveries. She was joined by Harmanpreet Kaur this time, who broke her bad run of form in the ODIs and scored her century in just 87 deliveries.

With finishing touches provided by Richa Ghosh, who scored 25* off just 13 deliveries with three fours and a six, India reached 325/3 in their 50 overs. In that process, many records were broken.
