The 28-year-old West Indian all-rounder Romario Shepherd will now represent the five-time IPL winners, Mumbai Indians, after a successful trade from Lucknow Super Giants in the off-season. Shepherd has only played four IPL games thus far in his career, with his last one coming in 2023 for LSG.ย

Shepherd has the reputation of being a hard-hitting all-rounder, with the ability to hit the bowl the real tough overs in T20 cricket. He was also one of the influential figures in Joโburg Super Kingsโ run to the semi-final. The all-rounder has a batting strike-rate of over 150 and 109 wickets at an average of 23 in 99 games.
After representing Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2022 edition and Lucknow in the 2023 edition, Mumbai will be Shepherdโs third IPL franchise.
