Australian left-arm spinner Jess Jonassen has tested positive for Covid and will miss the start of the T20I tri-series in Ireland, also involving Pakistan.
The spin-bowling allrounder is isolating in Brisbane and won't feature in the first two matches of the four-game tri-series. Heather Graham has been included in the squad as a back-up.
The series, which will get underway from July 16, will serve as preparation for the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
In Jonassen’s absence, one of spin-bowling allrounder Grace Harris or legspinner Amanda-Jade Wellington could partner Alana King.
Australia are scheduled to play Pakistan on July 16 and will play two matches each against both opponents.
