IPL 2025: List of all released big names who will go into the auction

It’s official. The retentions for the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) have been released, and franchises have let go of several big names all of whom will be up for grabs at the upcoming auction, likely to take place next month. 

But franchises not retaining the players does not mean they’ve bid adieu to the said individuals permanently. Teams with RTM (Right To Match) card(s) available can still buy back some of the players they’ve opted not to retain.

In the wake of the retentions becoming official, we look at all the big names who will be available to be bought at the auction.
