India have announced their 15-member squad for the Women's T20 Asia Cup 2024. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side are placed in Group A in the tournament and will begin their campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on July 19 in Dambulla, Sri Lanka. They will take on Nepal on July 23. All the matches in the tournament will be played at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Dambulla.
Along with Richa Ghosh, the incumbent wicketkeeper, Uma Chetry, also makes it to the final 15. Chetry took over the gloves after Ghosh walked off due to a concussion in the first T20 International (T20I) against South Africa in Chennai on July 5 (Friday).
Shweta Sehrawat, Saika Ishaque, Tanuja Kanwer and Meghna Singh will be part of the travelling reserves. India are the most successful team in the tournament's history, having won the title on seven occasions.
The final will be played on July 28, with the semis taking place two days earlier on July 26.
