Akeal Hosein to Quinton de Kock, FOUR! A real loosener to begin with from Akeal Hosein and South Africa are underway with a boundary. Quicker and flatter from around the stumps and angled into the pads, Quinton de Kock just tickles it away and the ball rolls away into the fine leg fence.

Akeal Hosein to Quinton de Kock, FOUR! Up and over, a top shot from Quinton de Kock. On the fuller side and drifted into the stumps, QDK makes room and lofts it inside-out over mid off for a lovely boundary.

Akeal Hosein to Quinton de Kock, FOUR! Oh, that is delightful from Quinton de Kock and South Africa are off to a flier here. Quick and short, turning back in from middle with some additional bounce. Quinton de Kock rocks back and cuts it really late and through the vacant third man region for another boundary.

Andre Russell to Reeza Hendricks, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! What a review! Andre Russell runs in from over the stumps and starts with a bit of a loose delivery as he angles this one on a length and down the leg side. Reeza Hendricks misses the flick and the ball goes past the pads straight into the gloves of Nicholas Pooran who appeals for a catch but is turned down. West Indies do review it and UltraEdge shows that there was a bit of an inside edge and Russell now becomes the leading wicket-taker for West Indies in all of T20 World Cups. Hendricks' slim run continues!

Andre Russell to Quinton de Kock, OUT! TAKEN! Andre Russell with the double whammy in his first over and the Proteas have now lost both their openers. Russell digs this one in shorter and over middle stump, Quinton de Kock hangs back and sets up for that favored pick-up pull over deep square leg but doesn't get enough on it. A fielder is stationed in the deep for that shot in particular and the ball goes straight to Sherfane Rutherford who hangs on to the catch. Smart bowling from Russell and he is pumped up.

Akeal Hosein to Aiden Markram, FOUR! Half an appeal for LBW but that has gone off the bat! Pushed through a bit fuller now and at the stumps, Aiden Markram brings out the reverse sweep and gets enough bat on it to beat the diving man at short third for a boundary.

Andre Russell to Aiden Markram, FOUR! Probably the shot of the match! Just back of a length and around off stump, Aiden Markram stands tall and presses back a bit before hammering it delightfully through covers for a boundary.

Akeal Hosein to Tristan Stubbs, FOUR! Too short and wide, and Tristan Stubbs doesn't let it go unpunished. Short ball well outside off, Stubbs makes some room and frees his arms before slapping it in front of square on the off side for a boundary.

Akeal Hosein to Tristan Stubbs, FOUR MORE! Short again and outside off, trying to fire it in, Tristan Stubbs rocks back and cuts this one square through cover-point for another boundary.

Alzarri Joseph to Aiden Markram, OUT! IN THE AIR AND GONE! Good length on off and shoots a bit on the batter. Aiden Markram looks to play on the up but the extra bounce does the trick and the ball hits Aiden Markram high on his bat and balloons over Kyle Mayers at mid off. Kyle Mayers settles underneath and grabs a good catch to dismiss the South African skipper.

Gudakesh Motie to Heinrich Klaasen, SIX! GIGANTIC! Too full and into the hitting arc of Heinrich Klaasen. The batter clears his front leg and lofts this over the sight screen and gains half-a-dozen runs for his side.

Gudakesh Motie to Heinrich Klaasen, FOUR! Half-a-chance gone a begging. Short of a length around off, Heinrich Klaasen goes deep and opens the bat face as he slices this agonizingly wide of Roston Chase at backward point for a boundary. Roston Chase puts in a valiant effort but this was out of his reach.

Gudakesh Motie to Heinrich Klaasen, FOUR! Floats one around the pads, Heinrich Klaasen flicks this and finds the perfect placement wide of the short fine leg fielder to his right for a boundary more.

Gudakesh Motie to Heinrich Klaasen, FOUR! Third boundary on a trot and Heinrich Klaasen is edging South Africa closer to that semi-final spot. Short of a length around off, Heinrich Klaasen slashes hard and manages an outside edge flying through that slip cordon for a boundary behind the wickets. 20 runs off the over, could be the decisive blow for the Windies as well.

Alzarri Joseph to Tristan Stubbs, FOUR! Boundaries galore. This time it is Tristan Stubbs's turn. On a length wide of off, Tristan Stubbs dabs this wide of the keeper's reach to his right for a boundary towards the third man region.

Alzarri Joseph to Heinrich Klaasen, OUT! CAUGHT! AGGRESSIVE APPROACH FROM Alzarri Joseph DELIVERS! A short-pitched delivery into the body of Heinrich Klaasen rattles him as he looks to push the ball away and gets a top edge along with a bit of glove back towards the keeper for his dismissal. Nicholas Pooran brilliantly backpedals and takes a stunner diving backward with just one hand. Is there another twist in the tale?

Obed McCoy to Tristan Stubbs, FOUR! GRACEFULLY CARVED! Pitched up angling across the batter, Tristan Stubbs leans to the pitch of it and drives this all along the ground through point for a boundary.

Roston Chase to David Miller, OUT! BOWLED'EM! What a big moment in the game! Roston Chase has just castled David Miller and South Africa still need 30 more runs to win. Stays around the stumps and bowls it a bit more round arm and on a nagging length on off and middle. Gets this one to turn a bit and the ball slides right on. David Miller backs away to cut a relatively fuller delivery and is beaten all ends up as the ball crashes into the off stump.

Andre Russell to Marco Jansen, FOUR! That will ease the pressure quite a bit. Hard length from Andre Russell but just a bit too straight, Marco Jansen tickles it off his pads and the ball runs away to the fine leg fence for a boundary.

Roston Chase to Tristan Stubbs, OUT! CAUGHT! Straight to the man and Tristan Stubbs could have just thrown away the game for South Africa. Roston Chase flights this one up on a fullish length, not quite full enough and onto middle and leg. Stubbs gets down on one knee and looks to heave it away but is late and the ball gets lofted off the higher part of the bat down to long. Kyle Mayers takes the pressure catch and the last proper batter for the Proteas is back in the hut. Also, Keshav Maharaj walks out to bat now.

Roston Chase to Keshav Maharaj, OUT! CAUGHT! Roston Chase has bossed this game so far. Tossed up outside off, Keshav Maharaj looks to take on the boundary rider and jumps down the track and looks to clear the fielder at long off. The bat tilts in his hands at the time of connection with the ball and the ball is lofted toward Alzarri Joseph at long off who doesn't make a mistake and pouches it safely.

15.6
Roston Chase to Kagiso Rabada, FOUR! What a time to smash a boundary. Tossed up outside off, Kagiso Rabada shuffles to his leg, opens the off side and drives this all along the ground through cover for a boundary. Kagiso Rabada has been doing it with the ball for the Proteas in the previous games now he is standing tall with the bat as well.

Obed McCoy to Marco Jansen, SIX! South Africa are through to the semis. Pitched up around off, Marco Jansen clears the front leg leans back a bit and slogs this over the fence straight down the ground towards long on region for a maximum to wrap this game. South Africa wins this by 3 wickets and they have knocked out the hosts of the T20 World Cup.
