Josh Philippe is named Player of the Match. He also wins the Golden Cap for being the leading run-scorer in the game. Tells that he is happy with his performance but opines that they are working really well as a unit. Praises Rashid and tells that he is really challenging to play and terms him one of the best leg spinners in the world. Credits the support staff for their support. Ends by saying that he is happy to be at the top of the points table.
Earlier in the game, the Strikers looked to be struggling throughout their innings. They lost their openers early. But half ton from Wells and contributions from Carey and Weatherald helped them eventually get to 150. The Sixers bowled well throughout the innings but it was the last over where Ball gave away 22 and allowed the Strikers to get to 150. However, that score was plenty short as the Sixers chase it down with 12 balls left.
It was a tough outing for the Strikers bowlers. They were attacked from the offset by Philippe and Edwards. Only Rashid Khan could trouble the Sixers and he took a 3-fer. However, he didn't get any support from the other end and they eventually were taken down by the Sixers' powerful batting.
The Sixers were off to a flier with Philippe coming out all guns blazing. He added 47 with Edwards for the opening wicket with most of the runs coming off his willow. Philippe got out to Rashid but he gave a superb start to his team, scoring 41 off just 21 balls. Skipper Hughes fell too but with the kind of start they got, Silk and Vince just had to work their way around. Both got the job done as they remained unbeaten during their stand of 73.
A comprehensive victory for the Sixers here! A superbly paced run chase from them. The openers gave them a flying start and then Rashid threatened to take the game away from them with a 3-fer but in the end, Vince and Silk took the team home without any trouble.

Danny Briggs to Jordan Silk ,FOUR! Another boundary. Briggs drags it short and Silk rocks back and hammers it right in the gap at long on and deep mid-wicket. No chance for either of the fielders to get there.
