Zimbabwe pacer Tendai Chatara has been ruled out of the ongoing T20 World Cup Qualifier event at home due to a collarbone fracture. Allrounder Tony Munyonga will replace Chatara for the rest of the tournament.
Chatara suffered the fracture during the group stage fixture against Jersey on Tuesday when he landed on his right shoulder while fielding. According to Zimbabwe Cricket, Chatara will be out of action for at least two months.
His replacement Munyonga has played nine T20Is, scoring 102 runs at a strike rate of 108.51.
Zimbabwe have won matches against Singapore and Jersey in the Qualifier tournament and are second in Group A behind USA.
