Ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season, Delhi Capitals (DC) are in talks with former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh to be part of their coaching staff for the next season, according to a report by Sportstar.
Delhi are without a coach after mutually parting ways with Ricky Ponting. Ponting led them to an IPL final in 2020, where they eventually lost to Mumbai Indians. According to reports, the franchise have just initiated a conversation with the all-rounder. Yuvraj has no formal training as a coach, and has only mentored several Punjab players during the domestic season.
Various reports earlier suggested that Yuvraj might be heading to the Gujarat Titans, where he would reunite with Shubman Gill, with whom he has a very close bond. The same publication also stated that Ashish Nehra is most likely to continue at the Titans alongside Vikram Solanki.
