WPL 2025: Smriti Mandhana’s SLUMP Against Deepti Sharma Continues

Smriti Mandhana’s struggle against off-spin continued yet again, with her third dismissal against UP Warriorz’ skipper, Deepti Sharma, on February 24. The RCB skipper was undone by a brute delivery from Deepti, an arm ball and took an inside edge crashing onto the stumps, falling for a nine-ball six. 

The left-handed opener got out for the 11th time in WPL, the most for any batter. Not just that, it was the third time that Deepti had dismissed Smriti in WPL, with the left-hander only scoring seven runs in total against her.
