Follow UsMohammad Amir and Imad Wasim helped Antigua and Barbuda Falcons hand St Kitts and Nevis Patriots their fifth consecutive defeat at Warner Park on September 8. The Falcons emerged victorious by two wickets and moved to No.4 on the Caribbean Premier League 2024 points table.
Amir and Imad claimed five wickets between them as the Patriots scored 153/8 in their 20 overs. Batting at No.6, Mikyle Louis smashed 63 off 36 and it was only because of him the Patriots crossed the 150-run mark.
In reply, Brandon King (29 off 16), Justin Greaves (30 off 16), Kofi James (20 off 16) and Sam Billings (18 off 21) got starts but none of them could carry on. They were 110/7 at one stage before Imad (17*), Roshon Primus (15) and Fabian Allen (7-ball 13*) took the Falcons over the line with two deliveries to spare.
