Follow UsMysore Warriors defeated Hubli Tigers by 56 runs in Match 14 of the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2024 on August 21 (Wednesday). The Warriors registered their third win of the season, while Hubli lost their first. Despite the defeat, they are still at the top of the table.
Asked to bat, SU Karthik (34 off 24) and skipper Karun Nair (66 off 36) added 59 runs for the second wicket. Once Karthik perished, the Warriors started losing wickets from one end but Nair kept the attack going. Apart from them, Manoj Bhandage (20) was the only other batter to cross the 10-run mark.
Chasing a target of 166, the Tigers got off to a good start, with Thippa Reddy and Mohammed Taha adding 34 runs in 2.4 overs. Once the partnership was broken, the Warriors took full control and bowled Hubli out for 109 in 17 overs. Jagadeesha Suchith finished with figures of 4/14.
