Watch Highlights: England vs Australia, 3rd ODI, Chester-le-Street

Harry Brook’s stunning 94-ball 110* propelled England to a 46-run win (DLS) in the third ODI against Australia at Chester-le-Street on September 24 (Tuesday). With this win, England have managed to keep the five-match series alive. 

Earlier, Steven Smith (60) and Cameron Green (42) put on 84 runs for the third wicket but Australia’s scoring rate was around 5. However, Alex Carey (65-ball 77*), Glenn Maxwell (25-ball 30) and Aaron Hardie (26-ball 44) put on a show as Australia smashed 104 runs in the final 10 overs.

Chasing 304, England lost Phil Salt and Ben Duckett inside three overs but Brook and Will Jacks (82-ball 84) got their team well in front with a 156-run stand for the third wicket. England were 254/4 in 37.4 overs, ahead by 46 runs on DLS, when it started raining and the game had to be rewarded to the hosts.
