Jaipur, Mullanpur and Vizag have completed their commitment to host games this season.
Let us look back at what has happened in Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and other venues that will host games going forward. We will also tell you how they have behaved so far and how they are likely to behave in the remaining three to four games.

4. Spinners have not been able to find success in taking wickets, as only 9 of the total 34 wickets have been taken by them at this venue this year.

ARUN JAITLEY STADIUM – NEW DELHI

Remaining Games: 4
Home Team: Delhi Capitals
Performance: Won-0, Lost-1
Venue Breakdown
1. The Arun Jaitley stadium made a late entry to IPL 2024 due to the wear and tear it had endured while hosting the second leg of the WPL 2024, which ended just five days before the start of IPL.
2. The only IPL match so far at this venue saw Sunrisers Hyderabad smashing 266 against DC, giving the signs of a sublime batting deck for the upcoming games.
3. The venue has seen a huge shift in batting conditions as the usual slow and low pitch, which saw an average score of 176 in IPL 2023 become a batting paradise during ICC CWC 2023 with an average score of 332.
4. The recently concluded WPL also saw an average score of 154, with 180+ totals being scored seven times compared to two times at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, the other venue which hosted WPL 2024.
5. Teams batting first won 7 of the 11 games during WPL and 3 of the 5 games in ICC CWC 2023. Even SRH managed to post a match-winning total batting first against DC the other day. Thus, batting first might be the best choice after winning the toss in Delhi.
