Arundhati Reddy left out of India's white-ball squads for West Indies series

India Women have named uncapped wicketkeeper-batter Nandini Kashyap and all-rounder Raghvi Bist in their T20I squad for the three-match home series against the West Indies, starting December 15. 

Meanwhile, uncapped top-order batter Pratika Rawal has been included in the ODI set-up. Tanuja Kanwer, who played the last of her four T20Is in July this year, is also part of the ODI squad. The left-arm spinner is yet to make her ODI debut.

Shafali Verma continues to miss out. The right-handed opener wasn’t part of the Indian ODI squad that got whitewashed in Australia. The opener has now also been left out of the T20I squad.

Arundhati Reddy, who has been in impressive form of late, is also not part of either squad. Reddy played the final ODI against Australia, claimed four wickets, and was the most impressive of the Indian bowlers in the series. Whilst the press release didn't state the reason, it is reported that Reddy has been dropped, given that she has travelled to play for Kerala in the Senior Women's ODI Cup. 

The press release from the Board of Control for Cricket in India stated that Yastika Bhatia, Shreyanka Patil and Priya Punia are currently injured and weren’t available for selection.

The three T20Is will be played at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on December 15, 17 and 19, respectively. Meanwhile, the three ODIs will be played at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara on December 22, 24 and 27, respectively.
