Sanju Samson scripted history when he became the first Indian batter to score back-to-back tons in the shortest format on November 8 (Thursday). The right-hander put up a stellar 47-ball century, his second under-50 ball century in T20Is, joining Suryakumar Yadav as the only other Indian batter to score two under-50 ball tons.
Samson backed up his ton against Bangladesh in Hyderabad with a second, the most for any Indian wicketkeeper in the shortest format. In particular, the right-hander took on the spinners, smashing 58 off 27 deliveries, continuing his form against leg-spinners. Samson also became the first full-member wicketkeeper batter to score multiple T20I tons
But ultimately, his swashbuckling innings came to an end while trying for a big hit, departing after scoring a 50-ball 107. What are the other records that Samson broke during his stay at the crease?
