India and Tamil Nadu’s batter Sai Sudharsan is set to return to Surrey for two County Championship games. The left-handed batter will be available for the matches against Lancashire and Nottinghamshire.
Sudharsan played one game for Surrey earlier this year before heading to Zimbabwe for the T20I series. The 22-year-old also played a couple of games for Surrey in 2023. Overall, he has 142 runs in five innings @ 28.4 for the club.
Surrey are currently placed at top of the Division One table. Sudharsan will play these games before heading back to India for the Duleep Trophy, starting on September 5. There, he will be part of Team C under Ruturaj Gaikwad. His county stint will end on September 1.
He has already played ODIs and T20Is for India but is yet to make his Test debut. In 18 first-class games, he has crafted 1144 runs at an average of 36.90.
