Uttarakhand’s Neelam Bhardwaj became the youngest Indian woman to hit a double century in Women’s List A cricket on December 10 (Tuesday). The 18-year-old achieved this feat while batting for her team against Nagaland Women in the Women’s Senior One-Day Trophy 2024-25 match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
With her knock of 202 off 137 balls, Neelam joined Shweta Sehwarat as the only other Indian to achieve the feat in List-A cricket. Shweat had achieved this feat in January 2024 and incidentally against the same team Nagaland, while playing for Delhi in the 2023-24 edition of the tournament.
