Rajasthan Batter Mahipal Lomror smashed an unbeaten triple century against Uttarakhand in Dehradun in the Ranji Trophy 2024-25, making the right noise ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 auction. Coming in at No.3, the southpaw scored an unbeaten 300 off just 360 deliveries, taking Rajasthan to 660/7 before they declared.
Rajasthan also managed to pick up three wickets by the end of the second day. This is the first non-plate triple century of the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 season.
Lomror has been in terrific form this season. Even in the last game in Hyderabad, he scored 111 in Jaipur as the match ended in a draw. Overall, Lomror has hit 529 runs at an average of 105.80, which includes two tons and a fifty in six innings.
This form comes at the right time for Lomror, who was not retained by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) ahead of the mega auction. Lomror scored 125 runs at a strike rate of 184 in the 2024 edition, largely coming in as an impact player.
In the ongoing Ranji Trophy season, Rajasthan have managed just one victory in their previous four matches and drawn three.
