Hardik has taken brave decisions as skipper: Rashid Khan

Gujarat Titans have been phenomenal in this edition of the Indian Premier League and registered a thumping 37-run win against the Rajasthan Royals at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. 

The newly-introduced franchise, led by Hardik Pandya, has won four out of the last five encounters and are currently on top of the points table. The skipper scored an unbeaten 87 off 52 deliveries and inflicted a run out of his opposite number to power the team to a comprehensive win. 

In a post-match press conference, Rashid Khan shared insights on the performance of Hardik and his impact on the team. 

"The way Hardik has led the team, the way he has kept the team environment, inside and outside the field, has been amazing so far. He is someone who always takes those brave decisions, always has confidence, and is very clear in mind about what he is going to do," he said. 

"This is an important thing as a captain; when your mind is clear, and you take the right decisions, the result will take care by itself," he further added. 

The vice-captain of the side also heaped praises on Hardik for his ability to make decisions with utmost confidence and back himself. 

"You take right decisions with confidence, that is something which makes him the best, and he has been delivering the best so far and leading from the front, be it batting, bowling and fielding," he signed off.
