Gurkeerat Singh Mann, on Friday (November 10), announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. The spin-bowling all-rounder from Punjab played three One-Day Internationals for India in 2016.
The 33-year-old featured in 59 first-class, 95 List A and 119 T20s, scoring close to 9000 runs. Gurkeerat ended his career with 12 centuries and 52 half-centuries. On top of that, the offspinner also claimed 96 wickets.
He was picked in India's Test squad for the home series against South Africa in 2015 but didn’t get to play a single game. He made his international debut in the ODI series in Australia in 2016. In three innings, he only managed 13 runs. He also bowled 10 overs but didn’t get a single wicket.
Gurkeerat also played 41 IPL games, scoring 511 runs at an average of 21.29 and a strike rate of 121.09. He also picked up five wickets. He was part of the Gujarat Titans squad that won the IPL 2022.
Earlier this month, he was also part of the Punjab team that won their first-ever Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy but only got to play one game.
