England have announced their summer international fixtures for 2025. They will host India in a five-match Test series starting June 20 at Headingley. Edgbaston, Lord's, Old Trafford and The Oval will host the other four Tests in a series that will conclude on August 4.
England's home summer will, however, begin with a four-day Test against Zimbabwe at Trent Bridge, starting May 25. This will be Zimbabwe's first Test tour of England since 2003 when a certain James Anderson made his debut.
England will then play a One-Day International (ODI) and T20 International series against West Indies from May 29 which will reach its conclusion on June 10 - ten days before their first Test against India.
“India touring is always a big draw and a highlight of any cricket summer. The last Men’s Test series here was a nailbiter, and I’m sure next year’s clash will be just as exciting," Richard Gould, ECB Chief Executive Officer, said.
“To be welcoming Zimbabwe back for a Men's Test Match will be a historic moment, more than 20 years since their last visit. Test cricket is so beloved in this country, and we know that we have an important role to play in supporting developing test cricketing nations so that this format of the game thrives long into the future."
Furthermore, England will welcome South Africa for a white-ball series, and the home summer will eventually conclude with three ODIs against Ireland between September 17 and 21. The venues are yet to be confirmed for the Ireland games.
