Follow UsTrinbago Knight Riders’ Nicholas Pooran and Jason Roy made light work of St Kitts and Nevis Patriots’ 194-run target in Match 25 of the Caribbean Premier League 2024 on September 22 (Sunday).
Pooran slammed 93* off 43 deliveries, studded with six four and seven sixes, while Roy smashed 64 off 34. The Knight Riders hunted down the target with seven wickets and nine deliveries to spare.
In the first innings, Andre Fletcher’s 61-ball 93 and Kyle Mayers’ 30-ball 60 propelled the Patriots to 193/4 in 20 overs. Chris Jordan (2/29 in four overs) was the only TKR bowler to concede at less than 8.5 runs per over.
