Follow UsTrinbago Knight Riders (TKR) rode on useful contributions from Nicholas Pooran (27), Kacey Carty (32), Kieron Pollard (42) and Andre Russell (31) to put up 175/7 on the board against Barbados Royals (BR) and register a 30-run victory in Match 28 of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024 in Tarouba. With this win, the Royals have now succumbed to their fourth straight loss in the tournament.

Maheesh Theekshana and Naveen-ul-Haq finished with identical figures of 3/35. In reply, Alick Athanaze (44) and David Miller (30) tried their best to get the Royals over the line, but in the end, it proved to be too much for them as superb spells from Akeal Hosein (3/15) and Chris Jordan (3/33) did the job for TKR.
With this win, TKR move to third, while the Royals continue to remain in fourth place. While Barbados have played all their matches, TKR will take on Guyana Amazon Warriors (GAW) on September 29 (Sunday) in Guyana.
