Follow UsAntigua and Barbuda Falcons defeated Trinbago Knight Riders by six wickets on September 19 (Thursday) to keep themselves alive in the 2024 Caribbean Premier League.
The Falcons registered their third win in nine games, while the Knight Riders suffered their second defeat in six matches. Both of these defeats have come against the Falcons.
Kieron Pollard slammed 47 off 37 in the first innings but didn’t get much support from other TKR batters. They could only manage 134/8 in their 20 overs.
In reply, Justin Greaves scored 46 off 48 before getting retired out. Hassan Khan (20-ball 36) and Imad Wasim (27-ball 36*) then scored at good pace as the Falcons got over the line with an over to spare.
