Chasing 220, Barbados never really got any sort of momentum in their favour, but David Miller tried his best with an unbeaten 34-ball 71, putting on 49 for the last wicket with Naveen-ul-Haq. But it was too little, too late in the end.
This contest is of little significance as far as the playoff qualification goes, as both the teams have made it through. Guyana are in second place at the moment, with 12 points, while Barbados are just below them with 10 points.
The Royals play their final group stage match agianst Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) on September 27 (Friday) in Tarouba. The Warriors, on the other hand, play St Lucia Kings next on the same day before wrapping up their round-robin stage against TKR on September 29 (Sunday).
