Kami leads Nepal's charge in powerplay
Sompal Kami got Nepal off to the perfect start, removing Tanzid Hasan off the very first delivery.
He finished with two wickets in the powerplay, with Dipendra Singh Airee (2/22) and Rohit Paudel (2/20) too chipping in with a wicket apiece in the first six.
Lamichhane's landmark
After going wicketless against South Africa, Sandeep Lamichhane (2/17) was back among the wickets against Bangladesh.
He got rid of Tanzim Hasan Sakib (3) and Jake Ali (12) to become the second fastest to 100 T20I wickets (54 matches) behind Rashid Khan (53).
Sakib's immaculate spell
If Kami dented Bangladesh early, Tanzim Hasan Sakib returned the favour by bowling one of the best spells in T20 World Cups.
His 4/7 included as many as 21 dot balls, the most by a bowler in the tournament's history
Malla, Airee's rescue act
At 26/5, chasing 107, it looked as though Nepal would fold under 50, but that's when Airee (25) and Kushal Malla (27) stitched together a 52-run stand for the sixth wicket to get Nepal's chase back on track.
Fizz's puts the brakes
While 22 needed off 12 was a steep ask in itself, Mustafizur Rahman (3/7) made it even tougher as he bowled a wicket-maiden in the penultimate over.
Nepal failed to score a single run in the last 11 balls of their innings, ultimately succumbing to a 21-run defeat.
